Facilities:  Parking, toilets, BBQ’s, viewing platform, partial wheelchair access

Habitat:  Grassy woodlands of remnant River Red Gum & Manna Gum, extensive replanting of native vegetation, parklands, wetlands, adjoining the Yarra River.

Typical Common Birds include:  

Australian Wood Duck; Pacific Black Duck; Rock Dove; Spotted Dove; Common Bronzewing; Tawny Frogmouth; Dusky Moorhen; Galah; Sulphur-crested Cockatoo; Rainbow Lorikeet; Musk Lorikeet; Eastern Rosella; Laughing Kookaburra; Superb Fairy-wren; Brown Thornbill; Spotted Pardalote; Bell Miner; Noisy Miner; Red Wattlebird; Grey Butcherbird; Australian Magpie; Little Raven; Magpie-lark; Silvereye; Welcome Swallow; Common Blackbird, Common Starling, Common Myna.

Other Possible Birds include:  

Crested Pigeon; Australasian Darter; White-faced Heron; Australian White Ibis; Straw-necked Ibis; Little Eagle; Peregrine Falcon; Buff-banded Rail; Masked Lapwing; Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo; Gang-gang Cockatoo; Long-billed Corella; Crimson Rosella; Red-rumped Parrot; White-browed Scrubwren; White-plumed Honeyeater; Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike; Pied Currawong; Grey Fantail; Mistletoebird.
