• The Grey Plover, Greater Sand Plover, Great Knot & Red Knot seen on the Photography Group Outing to Mud Islands on 17/03/12 (Outing No 256) are the first new sighting since the White-throated Nightjar seen on the Photography Goup Outing to Maryknoll & Bunyip State Park on 4/02/12 (Outing No 250). Well done Photography Group, yopu are definitely getting the runs on the board.
• If you want a day's birding with no introduced species, try the You Yangs Regional Park. Both the Beginners' Outing on 27/11/10 (Outing No 191) and the Boneseeding & Birding Outing on 3/09/11 (Outing No 228) were outings where no introduced species were recorded.
