• The Bl;ack-tailed Godwit seen on the Beginners' Outing to Point Cook Coastal Park on 28/01/12 (Outing No 249) is the first new sighting since Intermediate Egrets & Glossy Ibis seen on the Eastern Treatment Plant Survey on 25/01/12 (Outing No 248).
• If you want a day's birding with no introduced species, try the You Yangs Regional Park. Both the Beginners' Outing on 27/11/10 (Outing No 191) and the Boneseeding & Birding Outing on 3/09/11 (Outing No 228) were outings where no introduced species were recorded.
